Find answers to common questions and learn how to get the most out of Polaris.
Polaris is a healthcare management platform that helps patients and caregivers organize medical records, coordinate care, and gain insights from health documents using AI technology.
Click 'Get Started Free' on our homepage, then sign up using your email address or Google account. You'll need to verify your email and complete your profile to get started.
Polaris offers a free tier with essential features. Premium features and additional AI analysis credits are available through our paid plans.
You can upload various medical documents including lab results, imaging reports, pathology reports, clinical notes, and more. We support PDF, images (JPG, PNG), and common document formats.
Our AI analyzes your uploaded documents to extract key information like biomarkers, diagnoses, and treatment details. This information is organized into your health timeline for easy reference.
Go to your dashboard, navigate to the Caregivers section, and click 'Invite Caregiver'. Enter their email address and select their permission level. They'll receive an invitation to join your care team.
You can grant view-only access (to see your records) or manage access (to upload documents and manage tasks). You control exactly what each caregiver can see and do.
Polaris uses AI to extract information from documents, match clinical guidelines, find relevant clinical trials, provide second opinions, and answer questions about your health records through our AI assistant.
While our AI is highly capable, it's designed to assist—not replace—medical professionals. Always verify AI-generated insights with your healthcare provider and original medical records.
We use industry-leading security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access controls, and comprehensive audit logging. Your data is never sold or shared for marketing purposes.
Only you and the caregivers you explicitly invite can access your health information. You have full control over permissions and can revoke access at any time.
You can delete your account from the Settings page. This will permanently remove your data from our systems, subject to any legal retention requirements.
Yes, you can export your health records and data from the Settings page. We support various export formats to ensure you always have access to your information.
